I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel this fantastic world competing in one of the greatest sports. I was born into a family that not only owned skating rinks but also that lived in a house connected to one of those rinks. My experience as a speed skater allowed me to win world titles and I was at the tip of the spear in both the Unites States emergence as the top country in the world in Roller Speed Skating as well as the very first group of athletes to take international competition from traditional quad roller skates to the newer inline speed skates (winning world titles on both…..even in the same year). I have stayed competitive in the sport while raising a large family and I still travel around enjoying the people and events. As a Roller Hockey Player, I have won the national championship in USA Roller Sports, TORHS, SIHA and finished second in NARCH. I have coached National Champions in hockey as well as World Champions on Speed Skates. Today I have laced my roller skates back up where I play for Your Mom Men’s Roller Derby which is one of the top men’s roller derby teams in the country. I even began my career as a Roller Figure Skater and did pretty decent other then remembering my routine.
